Orlando, FL – March 23, 2025 – A fire broke out at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park on Saturday evening, forcing the evacuation of guests from the popular Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride in the France Pavilion. The incident, which occurred around 7:00 p.m., sent plumes of smoke into the air, causing concern among parkgoers.



What Happened at Epcot?

According to reports, the fire started in a backstage area behind the France Pavilion, near a walk-in cooler. Firefighters from the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District responded quickly, bringing the situation under control before it could spread to other attractions. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all guests were safely evacuated.

Disney has not yet released an official statement on what caused the fire, but investigations are ongoing.
